Welcome to Music and Art
My name is Becky Newsome, I have been a teacher assistant for 15 years at Monticello Elementary School. I am currently attending the William Carey University where I am working on receiving my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Some of my hobbies include drawing, painting, watching television and collecting Willow Tree figurines. I am so thrilled to be teaching music and art again this year. I have been busy preparing lots of fun activities for us to do this year. I hope you are ready to learn a lot of new and exciting things. We will be singing some new songs and completing a lot of projects this year. I can’t wait to see you in the fall!
